Eugene, Ore. – At approximately 1:28 p.m. on March 2, 2023 Eugene Police officers responded to the River Road and Corliss Lane area for a report of a recreational vehicle fire.
Eugene Springfield Fire was on scene working to extinguish the fire, and mitigate a downed power line when EPD officers arrived on scene. There were reports that the fire may have been intentionally set.
A suspect AMBER SUMMER QUATIER, was taken in to custody and charged with Arson in the First Degree and Criminal Mischief in the First Degree. The suspect was taken to the Lane County Jail, where it was determined they required medical attention for minor injuries sustained at the scene.
The suspect received medical treatment at a local hospital and was released back to the Lane County Jail for processing, and is awaiting arraignment.
(According to court records, the charge of Criminal mischief was not filed on. Quatier is due back in court on April 10th, 2023 for her one count of arson in the 1st degree.
Arson is the 1st degree is a measure 11 crime. If convicted Quatuer faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 7 years, and 6 months. No good time, or early release, must serve every day of the sentence. ~LCM)

Quatier’s LCSO arrest case stems from a domestic dispute in early February with her significant other.
Quatier allegedly had rammed his vehicle with hers while he was not in his vehicle. A cup with hand sanitizer was found on the porch, it appeared that she had tried to light the hand sanitizer on fire.
All charges in this case have been “no filed”.

The fire was started accidentally two officers knocked on my door giving me s*** about being parked where I was at left and then came back moments later pounding on my door tell me to clean up my f****** mess and clean it up now I have one day here still or two he said he didn’t give a f*** get the s*** picked up now so I picked up the metal frame through it in the RV picked up the movie blanket threw it in the RV at the officer’s request so I wouldn’t get my s*** towed the metal frame was sitting on top of batteries I had charged up the night before that’s how the fire started
