Springfield, Ore. – On Friday January 6th at 7:19pm Officers responded to a report of a vehicle pedestrian accident in the intersection of 42nd St and Main St.
Witnesses describe a 24-year-old male running across Main St unlawfully. He was struck by an Eastbound sedan who had a green light and the right ofway.

The pedestrian suffered head injuries and was transported to a local Hospital. One lane of Eastbound Main St near 42nd St was closed. Officers with the Major Accident Investigation Team were also on scene.
