Eugene. Ore. – JESSIE LEE WILSON went to trial on 4/18/2023 on two counts, Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree.
Court records indicate that the charge of Sex Abuse in the First Degree was dismissed. Wilson was found guilty of Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree, and sentencing was today, 4/26/2023.
Wilson was sentenced to 25 years in prison. This is a measure 11 conviction, so no early release of good time applies. Wilson must serve everyday of his sentence, minus any time spent in county lock up.
Wilson, once out of prison will have 100 years of post-prison supervision, basically parole. Wilson will also have to register as a sex offended for the remainder of his life.
Court documents say the victim was under the age of 12, so Jessica’s Law for Oregon did apply to the sentencing with the minimum sentence being 25 years in prison.
Wilson is currently in the custody of the Lane County jail awaiting transport to Coffee Creek for intake.
