Single-Vehicle Fatal Crash at N. Washington and Clark Street

Eugene, Ore. – At 2:14 a.m. on December 26, Eugene Police officers were dispatched to a report of a single-vehicle motor vehicle crash into a utility pole at N. Washington and Clark St.

The driver of the vehicle, a Chevy Silverado, was declared deceased on scene and a passenger was transported to a local hospital with injuries. The vehicle had hit a fire hydrant and there was a heavy flow of water in the area, as well as a concrete utility pole. The identities of the driver and passenger are being withheld for now to allow family time to notify their circle of family and friends.
