Eugene, Ore. – On Wednesday, 2/23/22 at approximately 2:00am, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office received a report that someone had fired gunshots in the 800 block of Elm Dr. in Eugene.
Deputies responded and discovered that someone had fired multiple shots, some of which struck a parked vehicle. Another round penetrated a wall at a nearby residence and entered a bedroom where a person had been sleeping. No one was injured during this incident.
It is likely that the gunshots came from the street and possibly from within a vehicle. There is no suspect vehicle description at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4150 opt. 1.
