Request Removal or Update
From here, you can request the removal or update of an arrest record and/or mugshot from our site. We do not charge for removals. You can request removal for yourself or on behalf of someone else in certain circumstances.
To expedite things, we've recently created a new automated process that works like this:
- Submit our easy online form which will include a field for your email address.
- Check your email for a verification message.
- In that message, click the link to verify that it's you.
- So that you don't have to wait for us to verify or review the request, the inmate record will automatically be removed at this time. This can take a few hours to fully process, but the arrest record will be removed until we can process the request.
The outcome of the process will be:
- CHANGE REQUESTS to an inmate record may take awhile to process. In many cases, we will simply choose to just leave the information off our site.
- REMOVAL REQUESTS work the same way. If we don't have time to verify or review the removal request, or if we can verify the submitted request as accurate, the info will continue to be excluded from our site and there's nothing more to do.
- If the submittted removal request is determined to be inaccurate, we may re-include the original arrest record on our site.
- An email will be sent upon any change in the status.
In general, most removals are permanent (especially in cases of first time offenses or misdemeanors.) However, in cases where a person reoffends, photos and arrest records from previous bookings may be used again when available.
