UPDATE: Arrested was Dustin William Harris, age 31, for Assault in the First Degree. The victim’s injuries are non-life threatening.
Location of arrest was Chapman Lane and River Loop 1, north of Eugene.

Eugene, Ore. – At 10:40 a.m. on January 7, Eugene Police responded to a call regarding a gunshot wound in the 2900 block of Allane Avenue.
Eugene Springfield Fire EMS also responded and transported one man to a local hospital for treatment. A male suspect was located and taken into custody with the assistance of Oregon State Police. There no ongoing threat to the public.
