Man Arrested on Warrants Near 32/Potter After Public Calls

Eugene, Ore. – ​​​At 8:17 a.m. today, January 5, Central Lane 911 received some calls about a man wearing a tactical vest near the 3800 block of Kincaid, which is near Charlemagne French Immersion School. Parents reported he was pacing in front of the school. The man was contacted by Eugene Police and arrested near 32nd and Potter.

He had face paint and a vest-type article of clothing but no actual body armor. He was carrying a bamboo stick. The man was identified as Travis William Jones, age 30, and was arrested on warrants he had. There was no probable cause for charges related to today’s activities. Case 22-00204
