Man Arrested for Stabbing Incident Released – No File

Eugene, Ore. – BREAKING – Baughman was released from jail today, 11/22/22, at approx. 10:50 AM. According to jail records, the reason for his release was “no file”. This means the DA, for whatever reason, has decided not to file on the charge of Assault in the Second Degree at this time.

Eugene, Ore. – At 8:20 p.m. on November 20, Eugene Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 500 block of Ruskin Street.

Multiple officers including a K9 unit responded. Ultimately, the male stabbing victim, age 26, was extricated from a trailer and transported to a local hospital by Eugene Springfield Fire.

JACOB ADAM BAUGHMAN (2017 mugshot)

A Eugene man, later identified as Jacob Adam Baughman, age 27, was arrested without incident and transported to Lane County Jail on charges of Assault in the Second Degree.

The two men lived at the same address and know each other and had a physical dispute. Violent Crimes Unit is following up on the case for further investigation.
