Springfield, Ore. – On March 7th, 2023, the Springfield Police Department initiated a suspicious death investigation in response to a call for service in the area of Henderson Ave. in Glenwood.
Michael Patrick Hill, 30, was identified as a person of interest in the investigation. Hill was later determined to be in the Mt. Vernon area. Hill was then located by SPD personnel in the area of 54th and Main and detained.
Hill is currently in the Lane County Jail facing one charge of murder in the second degree.
