Eugene, Ore. – At 2:27 a.m., today, Eugene Police officers responded to the area of E. 13th and Mill Street for a report of a stabbing, with the suspect being chased by witnesses.
Passersby helped the victim by applying pressure to the wound. Officers took the suspect, Dylan Wayne Jones, age 30, into custody without incident around 2:21 a.m.

The victim, age 21, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
