Eugene, Ore. – At 9:18 p.m. on June 21, callers reported a Lexus sedan had crashed into a utility pole on Lorane Highway near Friendly Street.

Eugene Police responded and closed the roadway, as there were wires laying across the roadway in both directions and a broken utility pole. The driver, an 82-year-old man, had to remain in the vehicle until the scene was safe to get him out. EWEB was called and shut the power off, then responded to the scene to render it safe and make repairs.
