Eugene, Ore. – At 9:18 p.m. on June 21, callers reported a Lexus sedan had crashed into a utility pole on Lorane Highway near Friendly Street.

Eugene Police responded and closed the roadway, as there were wires laying across the roadway in both directions and a broken utility pole. The driver, an 82-year-old man, had to remain in the vehicle until the scene was safe to get him out.
