Eugene, Ore. – MICHAEL ALLEN SHORT was transferred this morning, 3/21/23, to Coffee Creek Correctional Facility for intake.
Short was convicted and sentenced after a plea deal, earlier this month, to 6 years, 3 months on 4 counts of sex abuse in the first degree.

These are measure 11 crimes, and as such Short will have to serve each and every day of his sentence. Short was in county lock up for 1 Year, 5 Months, 20 Days. Short will be in prison for approx. 4 years, 10 months/9 months after his time served in county is subtracted.
After release, Short will then serve 3 years, 9 months approx. on PPS, parole basically.
