On January 30th 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Sigmund R. Caswell III was arrested in Lakeside by Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Lakeside, Ore. – On January 27, 2023 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Deputy Hannah Francis from the Coos County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Presbyterian Church located at 100 N 8th St Lakeside Oregon, to take a report of a sexual assault which had just occurred.
During this investigation it was discovered the victim had been forcibly raped and held against her will at 600 Airport Way, Lakeside, Oregon.
During the course of an investigation the suspect was identified as Sigmund “Ray” Caswell 33 years of age of Lakeside. It was leaned the suspect fled from the area on his bicycle. After an extensive search of the Lakeside area Mr. Caswell was not located. Probable Cause for Mr. Caswell’s arrest has been issued.
Mr. Caswell is believed to be in the lakeside area. Mr. Caswell is described as 5’11’ / 250 lbs. with short brown hair, and tattoos on his neck.
