Home Invasion Robbery Ends in Arrests

Springfield, Ore. – On March 17th, 2023, at 1:51 AM Springfield Police Department responded to an attempted home invasion robbery in the 400 Block of South 51st Place.

The victim reported two suspects entered the residence by using force to break the front door. The victim, armed with his own weapon, fired multiple rounds at the suspects.
The two suspects fled the area in a vehicle and were quickly located and taken into custody by patrol officers.

Both suspects were armed and had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment and once released will be lodged on the listed charges.

Detectives were called to the scene and will be assisting with the on-going investigation. Anyone with information or video surveillance regarding this incident is asked to contact the Springfield Police Department at 541-726-3721.
