Springfield, OR – Eugene Springfield Fire has numerous units operating in the area of Main Street between Pioneer Parkway and 5th Street in Springfield on a HAZMAT call. Please avoid the area if possible.
This is a hydrogen sulfide gas release from within a vehicle. The incident is contained to the area. Crews are working to contain the release. The public is asked to remain indoors if you live or work in the immediate vicinity until the materials are contained.
