Springfield, Ore. – On March 10th, 2022, at around 2249hrs officers responded to a single vehicle crash near the 3600 block of Franklin Blvd. A single vehicle had been traveling west bound on Franklin Blvd.
The vehicle failed to negotiate a turn at which point the vehicle struck a tree and the single occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. Speed was a factor in the crash.

At this time the name of the driver is not being released until the next of kin can be notified.
