Early Morning Search Warrant Service on Autumn Avenue Residence

Eugene, Ore. – At approximately 6 a.m. on January 4, Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit with the assistance of EPD SWAT served a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of Autumn Avenue.

The warrant was for drug-related crimes, Child Neglect, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Use of a Firearm.

SWAT was deployed to assist after review of the circumstances, to increase safety for all involved and the community. During the search warrant service, loud sound diversions (flash bangs) were used. There is no ongoing threat to the neighborhood and SCU is continuing their investigation into these crimes and collecting evidence.

Additional information on this case, arrest and charges against any suspects will be released after the investigation is further along.
