Eugene, Ore. – At 8:11 a.m. yesterday, December 1, EPD responded to the 2600 block of Edison Street, for report of a man in the bushes yelling for help.
He had also been seen attempting to break into a vehicle and yelling at area residents. The suspect was identified as TROY ALLEN MESSER. There was probable cause to arrest Messer in a stabbing incident at a relative’s home on November 30.
When officers arrived, they were not able to locate Messer. During the search officers were informed Messer was currently at Dusk to Dawn, 717 Hwy. 99N. They responded and found him seated outside the camp entrance. He was cooperative and taken into custody.
Messer was charged with Assault II – APA, Burglary I, Robbery I, and Unlawful use of a Weapon.
